PAINPOINT
Unnecessary negotiations and communication between seller and buyer decreases transaction of the marketplace
WUDV came up with the idea "I would've bought this if it was this price" changing the original user shopping experience as an open ended question. Customers will lose interest once the price doesn't meet their need and when they are not able to negotiate about the price with the sellers. This takeaways the opportunity for the sellers to sell the product.
ALWAYS EMPATHIZE THE USERS
While designing the wireframe, our team was focusing on reducing the steps for user convenience which made us put the usability on the second place. While coming up with the new payment system with the new idea, we recognized it is important for the users to go through the shopping process convenient and smooth. Our team went back to ideating and prototyping to better understand the users.
UNDERSTAND TO PROVIDE THE BEST EXPERIENCE TO USERS
Participating as a UX Designer, we always had to communicate with art directors and software engineers. I recognized how important communication is between other teams, which triggered me to learn HTML, CSS and other new fields. With more understanding and communication with other team members made us provide better experience to users.
BE CREATIVE
There is no right or wrong for design experience. While considering all type of users it was crucial for our team to pull up various ideas like average price of bidding, bidding competition with other users. Always be creative to come up with a new solution!

HYPOTHESIS
Sellers make more revenues when buyers choose the price
WUDV came up with a new payment system customers suggesting the price. By the new payment system WUDV believed customers will be satisfied by paying the amount they think the value is, and the sellers will have a chance to be paid more than they expected. This way WUDV thought they can create a healthier e-commerce ecosystem that benefits both seller and buyers.
